From Wellcare: Making the Most of the Doral Provider Promise
Did you know that WellCare's dental coverage vendor, Doral, offers members the added bonus of scheduling dental appointments? Through Doral's Provider Promise, WellCare members can call Doral at the toll-free number listed on the back of their ID card and work with a skilled representative who will assist in locating a dentist while the member either waits on the line, or within a maximum of 48 hours.
The key to this service is that the member must request that Doral set the appointment for him or her.
Please let your clients know to specifically ask the representative to schedule the dental appointment, otherwise the member will have to contact the dentist personally for scheduling and delays can occur.
Important Reminders
- Due to HIPAA limitations, Doral requires that only the member call Doral, and they will not be able to assist producer calls. Producers can assist members by making them aware of Doral's Provider Promise to access dental treatment quickly.
- Doral Dental vendor covers all WellCare PFFS members as well as CCP members in Florida and Georgia.
