MIPPA Changes Are Coming Soon.
As you know, there are many changes approaching the
Medicare supplement arena. The Medicare Improvements for Patients and
Providers Act (MIPPA) changes are going into effect June 1, 2010.
Medico plans to allow sales to begin the first of April
for a June 1, 2010 effective date.
Medico will announce products in states where we
have received Insurance Department approval. The other states will
be announced as soon as approvals are received.
We also plan to expand our portfolio of products by
adding Plans M and N over the next several months.
