Job Summary:
As one of our videographers, you will be responsible for creating ideas and capturing video footage for marketing and training content across a variety of platforms. This includes gathering video content in training seminars and other events around the office. You will be involved with our team in creating ad campaigns, building and maintaining our YouTube following, and a variety of other projects. You must be proficient in Adobe Premier for post-production editing and comfortable operating on a PC. Strong writing skills are a must as you will be involved in script planning and writing. Please send in samples of your work. Equipment is provided—we shoot with a Black Magic. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated individual, with an aptitude for creating interesting and compelling content within the office environment. All applicants must submit their portfolio.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Reads, reviews, and edits scripts and determines the best method for producing video from the script.
• Collaborate with subject matter consultants and training staff to evaluate and plan productions.
• Ensures lighting positions, sound enhancement, and proper recording equipment are in place to capture the best images in a variety of locations.
• Records footage for staged and unscripted scenes.
• Cuts and edits images to remove bad or extraneous footage, to add effects such as graphics or transitions, and to create a professional video product.
• Operates equipment to include cameras, editing console, time base correctors, audio board, and video switcher.
• Camera operator/filmmaker
• Pitch and develop new content ideas

• Postproduction editing and exporting
• Recommends equipment purchases, upgrades, or replacements.
• Modifies or designs equipment and systems to meet production requirements.
• Maintains, repairs, services, and installs basic video production equipment.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work full-time Monday-Friday.
• Must be self-motivated, have good time management skills, maintain a professional appearance, and be a team player.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Suite.
• Proficient on YouTube and various social media platforms.
• Experience in the Vyond platform is a plus but not required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Thorough understanding of and ability to use basic video production equipment.
• Thorough understanding of artistic styles, techniques, methodologies, and effects used within video production.
• Proficient on YouTube and various social media platforms.
• Proficient in Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication or Video Production; OR
• Experience necessary to prove ability to perform described duties required.
• Filming: 1 year (Preferred)
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to arrange sets and lighting to capture professional video.
