Agent Sebastian Soberanes – Central Texas
In this series, we highlight agents who are doing great work out in the field during this busy AEP and ACA open enrollment season. In this installment, we go to the field where Sebastian Soberanes has been meeting with clients all over central Texas.
Four years in the business
Soberanes has been in the insurance business for four years, previously working as a captive agent with Humana. He joined the Empower Brokerage family in February of 2020, just before the coronavirus pandemic turned our world upside down.
Why Empower Brokerage?
Soberanes credits Lori Benold, the Regional Sales Director for the Austin area, with his smooth transition from being a captive agent to an Independent agent under Empower Brokerage. Soberanes got the most out of our training programs with Benold’s help, as well as plenty of leads for a successful start. “Having the ability to develop and grow my own book-of-business was an important factor for the switch,” Soberanes said. This AEP, Soberanes has a goal of 50 applications, and our National Sales Director, DeWayne Long, gave him the leeway he needed to get going.
Looking to the future
Soberanes is looking to consistently grow his book of business over the next couple of years, providing customers with the best plans for their individual needs.
Soberanes does business as north as Waco and as south as San Marcos. You can find him each week during AEP Monday through Saturday at:
