Congratulations to Catherine Rodriguez O’Neill, who was chosen as our July Team Member of the Month.

Catherine is helpful, eager to learn, takes initiative and helps with many different tasks, according to those who work closely with her.

Catherine arrived in Miami from Puerto Rico in 2002, gaining a better understanding of the other Latin Cultures during the time. Wanting a new challenge and venture, Catherine moved to Texas in 2018.

Catherine’s duties include:

• Contracting for Empower Brokerage’s Medicare Supplement Division
• Underwriting for Medicare Supplement applications
• Assisting agents in the application process
• Staying abreast of trends in the marketplace
•  Managing and maintaining contracts within Empower

Catherine believes her real estate knowledge helped her with the new experience of working for Empower. Catherine’s strengths are in problem-solving and organizational skills, which help her be efficient and productive in helping agents with the contracting process and getting appointed with requested carriers. Catherine focuses in our Medicare Supplement market, working with John Shinn, where she has become more knowledgeable about not just Medicare Supplements but the underwriting process as well as agent tools and website. Catherine is a hard worker and Empower Brokerage acknowledges her dedication.
