3 KEYS TO SUCCESS

PREPARATION – This is, by far, the most overlooked step. Agents must get registered early, pay any deposits needed, and get organized. Now is the time to get deposits and carrier appointments/transfers done. Next, you’ll complete certifications, and we’ll bid on locations for you. However, procrastination on these steps can be detrimental to your success. Reduce last-minute stress and register now.
ATTITUDE – Agents, who talked to everyone, forged relationships, and kept a happy attitude, did much better last year than agents who didn’t. Within CMS guidelines, agents can smile, say hello, talk to everyone passing by, and create rapport with everyone. Not every prospect will buy a policy right away, but those prospects have family and friends. Prospects, who don’t buy right way, will eventually buy from you. Keeping a positive and happy attitude will yield more sales during the event, and for months/years afterward. Without any extra time, this step can skyrocket your sales!
FOLLOW-UP – This is much like ATTITUDE, because it requires mental effort. Following up, with everyone you meet, is very important. Agents, who follow up, sell far more policies than agents who do not. This is because it can take time for the things you say to resonate with a prospect. The information takes time to soak in and their subconscious mind is working on it after they speak with you. So, if you planted the right seeds in conversation, they will be ready for you to touch base a day or two later. Then, stay in touch monthly. Ask about other needs they may have, and ask them for referrals. This alone can double or triple your sales production!
