Friday, March 26, 2019 – The Empower Brokerage team in Southlake, Texas traded their keyboards and desk fare for a bit of corporate glamor in celebration of four esteemed employees on their hiring-date anniversaries. The afternoon lauded Anna Aguero for ten years, DeWayne Long for fifteen years, Joly Culp for twenty years, and Jeff Hess for twenty years loyally spent in the service of the company and their clientele.

The event brought the friends and families of the honored quartet through the building’s doors, who clapped and cheered and wiped tears as they watched their loved ones accept their awards— trophies outfitted with engraved placards and gilded eagles.

The festivities didn’t end there. After Anna, DeWayne, Joy, and Jeff each had the opportunity to speak about their experiences with the company over the decades, CEO Rodney Culp and COO Shannon Culp presented them with their gifts of choice, Anna receiving a new washer and dryer set, DeWayne, a trip to Hawaii with his wife, Joy, a relaxing Caribbean cruise, and Jeff, a brand-new tractor for his homestead.
A gracious word of prayer later, and everyone was ushered to the kitchen to socialize and enjoy a catered lunch featuring one of the best barbeque eateries in town.

The anniversary celebration was a lovely reminder that no company is faceless— behind cubicle walls, there are warm-hearted, humble, indefatigable individuals who put their hearts and souls into their work and do it for years on end. Empower Brokerage is truly lucky to have so many.
