Enroll in the SHOP Marketplace between Nov 15 – Dec 15
Did you know that your clients can enroll in SHOP Marketplace coverage from November 15 through December 15 without meeting a minimum participation requirement? This one month period is available to your small employer clients each and every year.
We know that offering affordable coverage options to employees can be a challenge for small employers, but the SHOP Marketplace team is here to help.
Small employers can apply for the SHOP Marketplace coverage at any time during the year. After December 15, employers will need to meet their state’s participation requirement in order to enroll in SHOP Marketplace coverage. In most states the participation requirement is 70%, which means that 70% of employees offered coverage must accept the offer or be covered by other forms of coverage.
